Awsome Books by Judith Grey and Illistrated by Joan E. Goodman.

This book Mud Pies is from a series of books that are published by Troll Associates (1981). I wanted to share the book Yummy, Yummy by Judith Grey and Illustrated by Joan E. Goodman but the whole series is wonderful and very useful. For example on the first page of all the books, in the series titled 'A Giant First-Start Reader,' there is a basic vocabulary list. Books in this series are repetitive, which can be helpful for you kidos. These were books I loved as a child.

Temple Grandin

After listening to Temple Grandin speak of her work with animals and how she 'sees in pictures' I was in aah of how someone with autism is so aware of how to express her thoughts and turn her talents into a contribution to the betterment of an entire industry. I an curious to find out more about her. Does any one know if this was the same person that Merry Sullivan referenced in the 'rounds presentation' last week.

The Graduate program at WWU

Hello all,
My name is Chris Heyne and I am just beginning my graduate program at WWU in Speech-Language Pathology. I am creating this blog as an assignment in a library course that I am taking this quarter (fall 2009). I may continue this blog as a form of communication with peers, clients, professors, colleagues and the public or it may fall to the wayside as I progress through the graduate program. I was impressed at how easy it was to create this blog and I hope to continue it if it proves to be useful tool.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post
